When a youth was charged in the Wanganui Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday with common assault on a girl, it was admitted that he had remarked to her: “You have nice legs, Miss.’’ Mr W. J. Treadwell, for the youth, observed that in these enlightened days there was no fault in admiring a nice pair of legs, but accused should have kept the remark to himself.
