LEVIN STOCK MARKET.
The weekly Levin stock : ; ale was held on Tuesday, when there was a good attendance of the public. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report having offered a fairly good entry of cattle and small yardings of sheep and pigs. They quote sales at the following prices:— Sheep.—-Fat ewes 255, lambs 19s, ewes in lamb to Southdowns 18s Id, two-tooth wethers 225. Cattle. —Fat cows £4 10s to £5 10s, forward cows £4 10s to £4 15s, cows and calves £5 7s 6d, cows in ealf £4 19s, empty cows £3 14s, store cows £3 to £3 12s 6d, steers £3 lfis, springing cows £9 5s to £lO. Pigs.—Slips 7s to 10s, weaners 11s 6d to 13s 6d, light porkers 36s to 38s, medium porkers £2 19s.
