For the winners Hunt potted a goal and kicked a penalty goal, but the latter was a doubtful score, the general impression being that the ball went below the bar. On Prouse’s paddock, Wanderers’ senior team playe# the Athletic seniors from Palmerston, the game being a fast and open one, in which the lighter team from the north, although frequently on the defensive, showed much activity.
