North Island ewes 4S/64 5 1-Bd. per lb; Now Zealand Prime Ox Beef 160/220 4J. per lb. . As compared with last week's quo tations, Down Lamb is 3-Sd. per lb. lower. Best and Ordinary Lamb l-Bd. per lb lower. Best Wethers id. pei lb lower, and Ordinary Wethers .and Light Ewes l-Bd. per lb. The market for Prime Lamb 2’s is steady and heavy lambs are a slow sale, with a declining tendency. The market for mutton is easier, and the demand is poor.
