LEVIN STOCK MARKET.
Messrs Abraham and Williams, IJtcL, report that at the weekly Levin, stock sale yesterday, they offered a fair entry of sheep, a good yarding of cattle and a small number of pigs to a large attendance of the public. They quote as under:—
Sheep.—Woolly wether lambs 14s 9d, ewes 225, cull ewes 7s to 9s 3d, forward condition rape lambs 21s 4d. Cattle.—Fat cows £8 5s to £9, forward cows £4 4s to £5 12s, cows and ' heifers £5 14s, store cows £2 10s to £2 15s, 18-months steers £4, calves 15s to £l, potter bulls £2 15s to £7 ss. Pigs.—Weaners 8s to 8s 6d, light porkers 28s 6d to 30s, medium porkers 3Js to 355. * ■'*
