In connection with the selection of a rink from the Hovowhenua district to represent them at the champion of champions meeting to be held at Palmerston North on March 24th, the Shannon -rinlc met Otaki’s representative rink at Levin on Saturday afternoon, the former winning by 21 to 12. The deciding match will be played between Shannon and Foxton at Levin on Saturday next. The links at Levin on Saturday were: Shannon —11. Butt, E. Butt, 11. Knowles and J. Gagliardi (s).
