THE CUTE GADGETS
A couple of romancers were discussing the up-to-date gadgets on their respective cars. Said one: “My petrol gauge is a very ’cute invention. It shows a different colomod light at three-quarters, half and quarter-full tank, and, mark you. it actually sounds a buzzer when only a few miles’ supply of petrol remains in the’ tank! ’ ’ “Fes, it is 'cute,” said the other, “and I may tell you I have the same gauge on my car, but it has an additional clever, in fact, almost human, piece of mechanism which automatically stops the car at a petrol-filling station when the tank gets below quarter-full.”
