MANAWATU TRADES UNION PICNIC AND SPORTS.

The Manawatu Trades’ Union picnic and sports will be held at the Ashhurst Domain to-morrow (Saturday). A fine programme has been drawn up for the sports, when 90 trophies will ‘be competed-for; and with the numeious games that have been arranged there will be plenty to interest everyone, while the children will also be well catered for with races and games, even- child receiving a toy. Special train arrangements have been made, the return fare from Shannon being adults 3s, children Is 3d. The Domain is an ideal spot for a preme and those who attend can be assured of spending an enjoyable day.
