' PHOENIX v. PARAPARAUMU. The match between Phoenix 1 and Paraparaumu, played on the Levin Park Domain on Saturday, was won by Phoenix by 40 runs on'the first innings. The visiting team batted first and made 96/the principal scorers being T. White 20 and H. Weggery 18. Bowling for Levin, Shelly took four wickets for 22 •and Warren three for 31. The home team had not much difficulty in running up a score, mainly owing to the efforts of Bryant, who compiled 46 (including two sixes and six fours), and-lL McDonald, who made 27.
