METHODIST SUNDAY SCHOOL PICNIC.

The annual picnic of the Methodist Sunday School was held on Mr. Dorset’s property, Marionoto, on Wednesday, when there was a large gathering of scholars, parents and friends. The site being an ideal spot for a picnic, together with t-lic games, sports etc., enabled those present to have an enjoyable time. The Sunday School Committee wish to thank all those who so kindly helped to make the picnic such a success. Following are the results of the sports: — Senior Girls: Edna Hill 1, Annie Dorset 2, Olga Buckman 3. Senior Boys: Cyril Tremewan 1, C. Young 2, W. Hill 3. . Infant girls: Lexie Sinclair 1, Mavis Hook 2, Ada Dorset 3. ' Infant boys: John Riclrcs 1, Fred Tremewan 2, David Dorset 3. Junior boys: Erie Hook 1, Douglas Bishop 2, Norman Riches 3. Married ladies: Mrs Hook 1. Married nun: Mr Swindlehurst- 1. Bible Class girls: Margaret Swindlehurst 1. Young ladies: Evelyn Swindlehurst. Young men: E. Barber 1.
