Mr and Mrs J. S. Burgis and familyare spending their holiday's at the • Waikanae Beach.

Mr Fred Brown, who has been absent in the United States for some eighteen months, has returned to duty. Airs A. J. Ridler was a visitor this week, being the guest of Mrs Blackwood.

Airs Strachan, of Christchurch, is visiting Air and Airs F. Gagliardi.

Mrs AI. Clarke, who lias been visiting her sister, Airs I. R. Robinson, left for (shrist.church on s Tuesday. Air and Airs 'A, R. Blackwood and family returned at the latter end of last .week from holidaying at i-hc Waikanae Beach.

The Mayor and Councillors of the P.N. Borough Council were visitors to the Alangahao Works on Wednesday. Air J. Roberts, jun., left for Waikaremoana at the week-end, where lie will take up his new duties at the Powei House.
