STOCK MARKET.

The monthly stock sale was held in the Shannon yards yesterday,, wnen a good yarding of sheep and cattle were submitted to a fair attendance of buyers. Prices were well maintained, cattle selling particularly well, considering the dry period being experienced, and taken* all round the sale was a good one. Following are the prices realised: —Sheep: Mixed sex lambs 8s to 12s; 4 and 5-ycar ewes 16s 4d Cattle: Weaner heifers £3, £3 2s 6d, to £3 15s, yearling bulls 30s; springing heifers £4 15s, £6 to £6 7s Gd; bulls £3 10s, £4, £5, £5 10s to £5 15s; store cows 30s to £2 15s; fat cows £4 Is, £4 17s 6d tq £5 10s.
