Show, to be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, January 24th and 25th, are practically on a. par with the total recorded at the last shonft Were it not for the falling-off in horses and competitions, attributable mainly to the growth of motor traffic, there would be a substantial increase in the entries generally. ■ The numbers of sheep and pigs have,risen materially; the entries of cattle are just the same in number as at the . last, show. The following table shows the totals in each division for this year and last year:—
