SEVEN NEW VERSIONS IN NINE MONTHS. WELLINGTON, Saturday. The British and Foreign Bible Society announces that by.the.addition of seven new versions since. March last it has now 'printed, portions of the Scriptures in 600 different languages, At the beginning of the century the number was 363, so that, 237 fresh versions have seen the light during le# than 28 years. \ E'ecently in one calendar year 14 new versions were issued and at the present time several are in .type and will shortly be added to the grand total.
