The competitions shall be known as the New Zealand Championship Haka and Poi respectively, and shall be competed for annually at Shannon ou the lirst day of January iu each year. 2. The teams in each case shall com prise not less than ten competitors. 3. No competitor shall be el ! g-ible toexception of the captain, who may act in that capacity to two or more teams. 4. The decision of the Judges appointed by the committee shall be final. o. The Shield in each event shall carry a cash prize of £l2 10/. or such greater sum as the Committee may from time to time decide. 6..The'nvuners up will receive a-cash prize of £5 or 'such greater sum as the committee may from time to time decide. 7. The Shield shall be held by the winning team for a period of twelve months, but must be returned to the Committee in good order and condition not later than November 30th in each vear. 8. The holders of the Shield will be responsible for damage to or loss of same, except by fire. 9. The Shields shall not be offered for competition except at the above time and places A breach of this condition will entail forfeiture of the Shield by the holders and disqualification from future competition.
