HOSPITAL LEVIES.
WILL HAVE TO BE INCREASED. "It is quite obvious, I think, that our levies will have to be increased," commented Sir James Wilson, chairman of the Palmerston North Hospital Board, at the monthly meeting of that body this afternoon. "The average number of patients has increased by something like 40 as compared with last, year, and that means that our expenses have gone up. At our next meeting a statement will be presented on the subject."
