Tin- competitions shall be known as the New Zealand Championship Haka am! Pol respectively, and shall bo competed i'ur annually at .Shannon on the first day at January in each year. 2. The teams hi each ease shall comprise not Jess than ten competitors. ;i. No competitor shall be eligible to compete in moie than one team with the exception ol: the captain, who may act in that capacity to two or more teams. 4. The decision of the Judges appointed by the committee shall be final. r>. The Shield in each event shall carry a cash prize of £l2 10/. or such greater sum as the Committee may from time to time decide. ti. The runners up will receive a cash prize of £5 or such greater' sum as the committee may from time to time decide. 7. The Shield shall be held by the winning team for a period of twelve months, but must be returned to the Committee in good order and condition not later than November 30th in each year. 8. The holders of the Shield will be responsible for damage to or loss of same, except by fire. 9. The Shields shall not be offered for competition except at the above time and place.
