Shannon led througout the game,. the nearest the challengers got to them • being on the eighteenth head'when the score stood at 15 to 13 in. Shannon's | favour. The latter scored one on each 1 of the next two heads and on.final head were six up. thus retaining the cup with a score of 23 as against 13. » STANSELL FEATBEES. As the holders of the Starseil Feathers last, year have left the district, v a game took place on Saturday between Blackwood and Morgan (skip) v. Watterston and Bo vis (skip) to decide who should be the holders for the ' opening of this season. The game resulted in a win for Blackwood and Morgan by 28 to 15.
