Jensen: I am afraid the money is nearly spent . The Chairman: There, is no report. T cannot place this before the Oouncil. You can place it before them if -you like.
Cr. Jensen: I um just showing it for your information. We should all know our position. There have been 25951 yards cf metal and chips put '.nit on'the Te Horo section since September 10th. That metal had to be crushed and also carted, and I would 'ike to \-now the amount of money that that involved.
The Chairman: Another 2000 yards has gone into Qtaki in the same >time. The crusher has never done so well in its existence. lam afraid that i the £2OOO estimated to complete the work has been spent. * Or. Jensen: Estimates like *hese are valueless. How can the Works Committee succeed if they don't know hew much is r.pent? The Chairman suggested that Cr. Jensen move for a return showing what had been spent in the Te Horo.riding since September 10th.
