LEVIN STOCK MARKET
A small yarding of stock came forward at the Levin sale yesterday, the weather conditions being decidedly detrimental to marketing. There was a fair attendance of the public, however, and generally satisfactory prices were realised. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., quote as follows: — Cattle. —Store cows £2 to £2 10s, fat cows £5 to £5 10s, crossbred yearling heifers £2 4s, yearling Jersey heifers £4 os, springing heifers £4 5s to £/, £lO. Sheep;—Fat ewes 12s 9d, fat hoggets 225, fat wethers 265. Pigs.—Weaners 15s to £l, porkeis £2 to £2 11s, sows to farrow £2 ss, £2 7s, £2 Bs. _______
