Although only just 21, Nancy Alexander, of Charlotte, North Carolina, (U.S.A.), is the head of the largest timber business in that State. She succeeded to the control of the company on the death of her : father less than two years ago, and since then she has increased the business of the firm nearly tenfold. Recently she received three proposals of marriage in one week —all by post ,and all from men whom.she had never seen.
