WATER KEPT FOR 6000 YEARS.
FIND IN AN EGYPTIAN TOMB. .CAIRO, Sep. 10. Water preserved since 4he Third Egyptian Dynasty (4212-3998 8.C.) has been found, according to an official communique, in the tomb of Queen Hetepheres, the mother of Cheops, builder of the Great Pyramid, which was opened by the expedition after being discovered in 1925. The liquid on analysis was declared to consist of a 3 per eent. solution of soda in water, possessing the same densitv as sea-water.
This is the first recorded instance of preserved water being found in an ancient Egyptian tomb.-—Central News.
