BASKET BALL.
On Saturday last. the A. and B. basket ball teams from the Shannon School journeyed to Levin where they met and defeated the Levin girls. The A team was captained by Myra McEwen and won by 14 to 10, goals being thrown by Helen Warner (5) and Eileen Foster (2), The B team were captained by Lila Ilolden, their score being 10 to" 6, Lila Holden scoring 3 goals and Marjorie Harris 2.
