110 STOREYS.
WORLD'S TALLEST BUILDING. NEW YORK'S'LATEST. NEW YORK, July 20. Plans for a building which will soar 1200 ft above the streets have been approved as to "zoning" and general construction by the Superintendent of Buildings. This 110-storey giant, known as the Larking Tower, which will be the tallest building in the world, is to be erected in West Forty-second Street, near Times Square, the great newspaper centre of the city. Minor revisions in the plans have yet to be made, but it is expected they will shortly be finished and the work of erection commenced.
