At a certain tennis club in Christchurch the committee had a notice painted. “New Members Can Fnd Out Where Key is Kept by Applying to the Older Members.” This was innocent enough when it was put up, but now it causes consternation among young men who join, and occasions great interest among the flappers. Some ingenious person has altered one letter. It. now reads: “New Members Can Find Out Where Keg is Kept by Applying to the Older Members. ’ ’
