SHANNON BOROUGH COUNCIL. pUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given; that at a special meeting of the Shannon Borough Council held on the 31st"- day of July, 1927, the following resolution was passed:— That the Couneil of the Borougfo of Shannon pursuant to the powers contained in "The Local Authorities Em* powering (Belief of Unemployment) Act, 1926, and the amendments thereto, borrow a loan of £250 to be known as "The Unemployment Loan 1927" for the purpose of forming and constructing a risad to the Shannon Cemetery. For the purpose of providing for the repayment of the said loan and for the payment of interest and other charges on or in connection with the said Loan and a sinking fund of not less than two per centum per ! annum to appropriate and pledge as security a special rate of one thirty-second (l-32nd) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value of. all Rateable property in the Borough of Shannon comprising tiie whole of the Borough' on the basis' of the Capital value such rate to be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan. The term of the loan shall be for a period not exceeding ten years. That the Council hereby appoints the Public Trustee to be sole Commissioner of the said sinking, fund and declares that such appointment shall be irrevocable. That the common seal of the Mayor, Councillors and Burgesses of the Borough of Shannon be affixed to all necessary documents a r nd ,to copies of this resolution and all other resolutions and documents relating to the said loan and that the Mayor and Councillor Gunning be appointed to affix the said seal and to execute aH documents and PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby further given that the said resolution will bo submitted for confirmation to a- special meeting of the said Council to be held at the Borough Council Chambers* Plinv mer Terrace, 2nd day of August* 1927, at 7.30 j>.ttt. Notice is also given that any person* jiaving any objection to the proposed loan is called* upon to submit th« same 1 in writing to the Shannon Borough Council at Shannon not later than toe day prwediit'g the <ja,id meeting.
