' i RELIEF OF UNEMPLOYMENT LOAIT. pUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Shannon Borough Council held on the 21st day of July, 1927, the following resolution was passed:— That the Council of the Borough of Shannon pursuant to the powers con* ' tained in ‘ 1 The Local Authorities Em* powering (Relief of Unemployment) Act, 1920, and the amendments there* to, borrow a loan of £250 to be known as “The Unemployment Loan of £250, 1927 ’ ’ for the purpose of forming and constructing a road to the Shannon Cemetery. For the purpose of providing for the repayment of the said loan' and for the payment of. interest • and other charges on or in connection with the said Loan and a sinking fund of' not less than two per centum per annum to appropriate and pledge as security a special rate of one thirty-rsfeeond (l-32nd) of a penny in the pound Sterling on the rateable value pf all tate.able property in the Borough of .Shannon comprising the whole of the Borough on the basis ' the Capital value such rate* to be an annually recurring, rate during the currency of such loan. The term of the loan shall be for a period not exceeding ten years. That the Council hereby appoints the Public' Trustee to be sole Commissioner of the ‘ said sinking fund and declares f-that such appointment shall be irrevpe'able. That the common seal of the Mayor, Councillors and Burgesses of the Borough of Shannon be affixed to all necessary documents and to copies of this resolution and all other resolutions and documents relating to the said. lqan and that the Mayor and Councillor ning be appointed to affix the said Soul and to exeeute all documents and •PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby further given that the said resolution will be sjjb- . mitted for confirmation to a meeting of the said Council to be at the Borough Couneil Chambers, Plijnmer Terraee, Shannon, on Tuesday, fjie 2nd day of August, 1927, at 7.-iM)i plm. Notice is also given that any ..person having any objection to the proposed loan is called upon to submit the same in writing to the Shannon Borough Couneil at Shannon not later than the day preceding the said meeting. • • Dated this 22nd day of July, 1927.
