FOR HIS PAPER’S ATTACK ON THE JEWS. NEW YORK, July 8. Mr. Henry Ford has ordered the Dearbprn “Independent” to cease the publication of articles reflecting on the Jewish people, also to withdraw from circulation its international Jew pamphlets. Mr. Ford states: “The multitude of my activities has ' made it impossible for me to keep informed of the contents of magazine articles, which justify the righteous indignation entertained by Jews everywhere toward me. I am mortified upon discovering the actual nature of the articles. Those who know me bear . witness that it is hot my nature to invflict insult or pain on anybody. : ' “I deem it my duty as an honourable man to make amends for the wrong done to the Jews as my fellow-men and brothers, asking forgiveness for acts unintentionally . committed, and giving them an assurance that hencei forth they may look -fo me for friend- : ship and goodwill.” ,
