TAKE CARE OF YOUR HAIRBRUSHES
Hairbrushes should be washed at least once a week. Put one desertspoonful of washing soda into a quart of boiling water, with one teaspoonful of soap flakes. Let this stand until it is just lukewarm and then dip. th e bristles in and out sharply, being very- careful not to wet the polish-: ed back of the brush. Greasy brushes may need two washings before being- perfectly clean. Rinse the brushes in clear, cold water, shake them and stand them up in an airy place to dry. Do not dry them before thefire in the winter, or in the sunshineIn the summer, as the bristles will become yellow.
