SCHOOL FOOTBALL
In the primary schools competitions, Shannon met Foxton on the Domain on Wednesday. The game was keenly and evenly contested, ending in a draw, neither side scoring. This game was to have been played on Saturday, but Foxton were unable to get across owing to the Manawatu river being in flood.
