GOLF NOTES.

JUNE MEDAL. Although weather conditions on Saturday were not of the most congenial for any outdoor games, a large number turned out for the June golf medal match, and in spite of the heavy ground in one or two places some good scores were registered. The medals were however, won by Mrs Saxon and Mr C. Stern respectively. As the latter is a first year player, it savers well for his game in the future. It was soon very apparent that it would not be long before some of lihe younger members world be attracting notice and we congratulate the latest one to do so. It is hoped that extensions to the golf house will be started this week, and as a good deal of voluntary labour will be required, we trust that such may be forthcoming.
