HIGH QUALITY BUTTER.

SHANNON TAKES NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIP. LEVIN WINS MURGATROYD CUP RESULTS FROM PALMERSTON. The butter results at the National Dairy Show, which opens to-morrow, were made available this morning. The entries were the largest in the history of the Association and the judges say the quality of the exhibits is well ahead of those in previous years. The butters had all undergone a hard test, being subjected to a lengthy storage period of three months. It is pleasing to find that, with one or two exceptions, the quality stood the test well and opened up as fresh as the day the butter went into cool storeage. The flavour, body salting and general get-up of the exhibits leaves little to be desired. Championship of New Zealand.
