GOLF NOTES.

MAY MEDAL MATCH. Now that the course is in playing order and the members all so keen, the medal matches will begin on Saturday (to-morrow). The May medal will be played for under the usual conditions, stroke’ play minus handicaps, men to play 18 holes, ladies twelve holes. The ladies’ rounds will consist of the first nine and then numbers one and two and nine. For to-morrow’s match players are asked to arrange their own partners. Cards must be handed in at the end of the day’s play. Members who do not have their half holiday on Saturday may play their medal matches on one other day as spec, ially arranged.
