BIRCH—PERRY.

A quiet but pretty wedding took, place at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Levin, on May 25, when the , . Rev. Mr Crockett united Mavis Amun, . only daughter ,of Mr C. Perry, Miranui, to Wesley Francis, eldest son of Mr and Mrs F. S. Birch, Longburn. The bride, who was given away by, her father, wore a, dainty frock of palest j pink georgette and lace, and the. usual veil and orange blossoms and carried a beautiful bouquet of roses, pink carnations, and maiden hair fern. The bridesmaid, Miss Gwen Flanagan, wore poudre blue georgette embroidered with beads and sequins, and carried a bouquet of cream chrystnthemums and blue delphiniums. Mr E. Birch, cousin of the bridegroom, acted as best man. The, church was tastefully decorated and Mr Jess White, who presided atthe organ, beautifully rendered the Wedding March. The bride and bridegroom afterwards left by train to,spend their honeymoon in the north.
