A good yarding of cattle came forward, while a fair number of sheep were offered. Following are the prices resided: Sheep—Fat 2-tooth wethers from 19/6 to 22/3, empty ewes from 5/5, 7/6 to 10/8. Cattle: /Springing iheifers £6 10s to £6 17s»6d, yearling Jersey heifers 30s, £2 to £2 ss, 2i-year steers £3, £4 5s to £4 15s, 18-month steers £2 I9s io £3 6s, fat cows, prime Polled Angus £5 15s fat Jersey cows £2 18ss, £3 10s, to £3 18s. forward cows £2 12s to £2 16s. store co>vs 32s 6d ; 35s to 38s, Jersey heifers running with bull £3 lis to £4 ss, potter bulls £5 and £5 7s 6d.
