TOO DEAR.
CHICAGO, March 14. The members of the Australian Industrial Mission, who are receiving three guineas a day expenses, found on arrival in Chicago that reservations had been made for them for nine days at the Blackstone, Chicago's most exclusive and expensive hotel, called the '' Millionaires' Hotel.'' Here a single room costs £2 a day, the simplest breakfast 10s, and lunch 18s. None of the members dared-to stay for dinner. The employees' representative moved to a second-class establishment, and the ethers followed, as they .considered-it necessary to keep the party together.
