LEVIN STOCK MARKET.
There was a good attendance at the -weekly stock sale at Levin yesterday, and the tone of the market Avas a little better than at recent sales. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report sales at the following prices:— Figs.—An average yarding of pigs all sold at late rates, btores, 10s, 13s to 16s; light porkers, 32s 6d to 355; medium porkers, £2 to £4 2s 6d. Sheep. —There was rather a small yarding, principally composed of lambs. Medium woolly lambs 13s lOd to 14s, smaller lambs lis Bd-to 12s 10d. Cattle. —The yarding was an average one. Fat cows £3 7s 6d to £3 17s 6d to £4 14s, forward cows £2 15s to £3, fat heifers £3 5s to £3 10s, store cows £2 Is to £2 8s to £2 12s 6d, springing cows £7 17s 6d to £9 12s 6d to £ll.
