The monthly meeting of the Masterton Chamber of Commerce was held on Tuesday afternoon. The Wellington-Nclson-Hawke's Bay and Taranaki Court of the Dunedin Exhibition asked for a donation of £5 to assist in wiping out the debt on tho Exhibition. The letter was greeted with laughter, and was, on the motion of Mr. D, Smith, "left lying on the table.''—Daily Times.
