LEVIN STOCK MARKET.
Messrs Abraham and'Williams, Ltd., reoort that there was a good attendance at their weekly stock sale Tuesday,. Pair numbers of pigs were penned; there was a fair yarding of sheep, but a small entry of cattle, for which the demand was light. The range o ? prices was as under: — Sheep.—Four and six-tooth ewes 18s lOd, four and five-year ewes 15s 6d, cull lambs 6s to 8s 7d.
Cattle. —Two-year steers £3 4s, fat cows £2 5s to £3 2s 6d, store cows 27 1 6d to £2.
Pigs.—Light porkers 35s 1 o £2, jfieavy porkers £2 3s to £2 4s, baeoners £3 9s, stores 22s to 24s 6d, weaners 6s to 10s.
