To be gradually awakening from the tiance in which she has lain for more than 13 months was the recent experience of Miss Doris Hinton ( of Chiiwell, near Nottingham, England. First of all a movement of her body wa s observed, and then she partially • recovered the use of one arm and of her hands. She recognised members of her family and confident hopes were entertained of her ultimate return to a normal condition. Miss Hinton who is 17 years of age fell asleep at the end of 1925, when her parents were away from home. She was listening to a wireless concert, and, suddenly taking off the headphones, without a word lay back on a couch.
