Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report that at Levin sale on the Ist instant there was a large yarding in all sections. Sheep were in good demand and sold readily. Pat cows were lower, but all store cattle, the yarding being chief/ ly cows, sold well at late ratea. Pigs, both .stores and fats, were easier in value. Quotations: —Wether lamb)s (&mall) 10/1, m.s. lambs (small) 0/5, fat cows £3, £3 15s, to £1 ss, forward cows £2 10s to £2 17s 6d, cows in milk £4 to £6 15s, weaner heifers 21s, 2-year bulls £2 17s (3d to £6 16s Od, porkers 38s 6d to £2, ■ -
