Members of All Saints ’ Ladies' Gull assembled yesterday at the Vicarage t bid farewell to Mrs.. Eddy, who short ly leaves for the South. The Bov. G K. Moir regretted that Otaki was t lose Mr. and Mrs. Eddy, referred t them as the best of citizens, and spok very highly of them as neighbours while Mrs. Eddy, as a member of th Guild, had proved most useful. AJ were sorry to know of her departure and on behalf of the Guild he wisho her God speed and better health fo the future. The Rev. gentleman thei presented to Mrs. Eddy a fine clop] and a case of spoons. Mrs. Eddy suit ably responded, regretting vqry mud that she was leaving behind man; friends. Afternoon tea was served an< enjoyed by all present. —Otaki Mail.
