Aftor an adjournment of a fortnight on account of the holidays, the local cricket competition w-as resumed on Saturday, Avhen the third round was commenced, on the jWoraroa Domain. After a drab game AVeraroa defeated Levin by 28 runs.. Batting first Weraroa A\ith four wickets down foe 17 appeared to be in a precarious position until France and -Watts came to light when runs were needed badly, and the innings closed for 89.
