For many long weeks the drought had vexed' <Robinson, who grew fruit for a living. And now at last, a beautiful shower of rain was falling, and the features of Robinson wore a satisfied smile. Suddenly it faded, and a spasm of pain passed over his countenance. One very fat man was still at work in the orchard. * ‘ Come in out of the rain, ’ f he shouted, "Do you hear?” "It’s all right,” answered the zealous worker, " 'twould take more than this to hurt me.” "I daresay,” shouted Robinson again, "but you come inside; I want all the rain on the land.”
