The New Zealand Student Christian movement is holding its summer conference this year at Solway College, Masterton. The men’s camp, which is part of the conference, is held in the grounds and buildings of the A. and P. Association. This year about 170 students and graduates from all over the Dominion are gathering at Solway. The main conference will begin to-night, and will continue till the morning of January stli, and a supplementary conference for officers of the movement and for graduates will continue until Saturday, January Btli. The main subject in the supplementary conference will be the study of religion and education. In the conference proper, which will last for a week, the chief activity will be the study of “The Challenge of Jesus Christ to the Modern Student.” For this purpose the conference will break up into about 20 discussion groups, called study circles. The conference expects to spend' New Year’s Day in an excursion/ finishing up with a camp fire.
