STOCK SALE.

The monthly stock sale was held at Shannon yesterday. There- was a failattendance of farmers, but the bidding was not snirited, and very few lines changed hands. Only one pen of sheep came forward, but these failed to reach the vendor’s reserve. The cattle offered were mostly stores. The following prices were realised: Forward cows £3 (ss, £3 11s, and £5 ss; store cows 22s 6d to £2, Jersey heifer's £4. Store pigs 24s (id, 4-year draught mare £2B. On behalf of Mr J. Piiovano, who is giving up contracting, a number of implements were sold at satisfactory prices.
