LEVIN STOCK MARKET.
Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report that at their weekly stock sale at Levin yesterday there ivas a large yarding of pigs, a very small yarding of sheep, aud a small entry of cattle. Store pigs sold in advance of late rates; medium porkers met with a ready demand, but heavy, porkers were neglected. Weaners sold up to 18s 6d, slips from 25s 6d to 32s 6d. light porkers from £2 6a to £2 lbs, heavy porkers from x,'J, li)s to £tt Lis. There was a poor demand for sheep. Fat ewes realised 15s 7d. Fat cowa sold at from £5 15s to £6 15s, forward cows £3 4s to £3 12s fid, fat heifers £4 t-j £5 2s 6d, store cows £2 to £2 ss, spiinging heifers £4 12s 6d.
