HOROWHENUA A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.
At the monthly meeting of-the committee of the Horowhenua A. and P. Association there were present: Messrs S. A. Broadbelt (chairman), G., Tullv, 1-1. J. Richards, D. 11. Kingdon, F. H, R. Gorriiige, D. V. Brown, J. Evans, H. J. Lancaster, H. G. Vickers, 0. H. Bbuld, W. M. Stack, J. 11. Mungavin, H. Webb, W.'S. Joyce, and E. H. Field. An application from St. Peter's Mission, for the use of the showground for a girls' camp, commencing on December 27, was referred to the finance committee. ••; Donations of £1 Is each were received, from Messrs W. E: Apps and W. Donnelly for the dog section. A sum of* £5 os for special prikos in this section was granted by the committee. .Invitations to attend ihe next annual show, to be held on January 25 and 2G, will 4>e forwarded to the Hon. O. J. Hawken (Minister of Agriculture), the Hon. A. D. MeLeod (Minister of Lands), ihe Hon. E. F,-Bollard (Minister of Internal Affairs), Mr J. Linklater, M.P., and Mr W. H. Field/ M.P. The closing time for-,-entries, in the butter-fat competition was extended to Saturday. .'','■ Messrs R. Miingavin, 11. Mungavin, and F. J. Dent (Otaki) were elected members of the Association.
