THE BEAUTY CONTEST.
The positions'to-day of the semi-final-ists in the "Miss llorowhenuaf' Beauty Contest are as under: — ■> Miss Edlin (No. 6) 1 Miss Brinible (No. 2o) .. .'. 2 Miss Williams (No. 5) .. . . '& - Miss Melton (No/1) .... '4 Voting will continue up to Saturday night, and the result will be announced at the Be Luxe Theatre on Monday night. Each evening this week the semi-finalists will appear on the stag-.-at the De Luxe. They made their dobut, last night, when they were introduced by Mr K. Aitkeu, and delighted a large audience, each candidate in turn being loudly acclaimed by her sujporters.
