j - GENERAL MEETING. ! The above meeting held in the Pavilion last evening was well attended. The President, Mr A. T. White, presid- ■ ed. Mt was resolved that the Club’s pairs and singles championship commence m the first week in February, two losses to' count out. Two games to be played each week, one game of singles and one game for pairs. The drawings each round to take place eveiy Monday. It was decided that the Selection. Com 1 - mittee divide the players into two grades. The winners of each grade to meet, and the winners of two out of ■ three games be declared the champions, Bach member to select his own partner in the pairs. ... .. In respect to rink championship it was resolved that the members be classified by the Selection Copimittee and be drawn out in the respective posi ; tions. Also that two substitutes be allowed in the event of any player selected being unable to play. Two games to be played on any nights during each week. In the .case of absence of a playei on a fixed night he must make arrangements to meet his opponent, before the following draw, otherwise he will forfeit. The decision of the Selection Committee shall be final. Nominations for rink championship will close on Monday, December 6th., The matter of top-dressing the green was left to the, Green Committee with full power to act, and that they be empowered to procure the necesisuiy material, r ,

.Photographs of winners of the* trophies are to be taken; also that an honours board be procured, on which the names of past presidents will be inscribed. A hearty vote of thanks as accorded the iwinners of the Manson and Barr and Dixon Cups, and Kinneburg Feathers, the Selection Committee being complimented on their selection of players for the various trophies.
